FedEx Shipment Delayed and Overcomplicated with Unnecessary Customs Demands

I attempted to ship brand-name plates and cups from the U.S. to Turkey via FedEx (shipment no. 779364849510). Despite the shipment containing only 10 items and not being a commercial order, FedEx refused to assist with customs clearance for items valued over 30 euros. Instead, they directed me to a customs brokerage service.

The broker requested numerous documents, which I provided. However, they then demanded additional approval from the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry, which I was informed is unnecessary for non-commercial shipments. Even after numerous phone calls confirming this, the process was unnecessarily prolonged.

To make matters worse, I was told I might need to pay up to ₺20,000 in fees. This excessive demand and lack of proper guidance have made the situation frustrating. I demand immediate clarification and resolution. If no action is taken, I will escalate the matter to CİMER and provide all details.
