Fakir Inovator X 7272 Battery Failure Despite Warranty Coverage
On 16.09.2023, I purchased a Fakir Inovator X 7272 cordless upright vacuum cleaner from the Balıkesir Evkur store, and I still have the invoice. For the past two days, despite the battery being fully charged, the device does not work at all—there are no warning lights, sound alerts, or error codes. This issue appeared suddenly, and I have been unable to use the product since. After a previous complaint I submitted, customer service contacted me and directed me to an authorized service center. When I took the device there, I was told the battery needed to be replaced and was asked to pay ₺7000, which is the same amount I originally paid for the vacuum. It is unacceptable to demand such a high fee for a part that failed while the product is still under warranty. When I called customer service again, I was told that the battery is considered a spare part and not covered under warranty, and that I would have to purchase it. Furthermore, the representative, Ms. N*****, remarked that “your warranty will expire in 15 days anyway,” which I found extremely inappropriate. Since the product is still under warranty, it should be repaired free of charge or replaced with a new one, not used as an excuse to demand more money. I am requesting a replacement or free repair of the product. On Monday, I will file a complaint with the Consumer Rights Court and report this issue to the relevant authorities at the Balıkesir Governorship. If I do not receive a resolution, I will pursue legal action. I will also make sure to warn people around me never to buy Fakir products. I demand that my grievance be resolved urgently.
