Because of a delay on my Etihad flight EY544 on October 25, 2025, my spouse and I missed our connection in Abu Dhabi and were unable to board our next flight, EY414. Due to this delay, we were forced to wait for a long time at Abu Dhabi Airport, and our entire travel plan was disrupted.
We arrived at the airport at around 2:00 PM, but we were not transferred to the hotel until approximately 8:00 PM. The following day, we were taken back to the airport at 5:30 AM. Although Etihad did provide hotel accommodation and transportation, we experienced significant time loss during this process and were unable to attend the programs we had planned.
Regarding the inconvenience we experienced, I contacted Etihad both through live chat support and via the feedback channel. However, despite 26 days having passed, I still have not received any response. This lack of communication has further increased our frustration.
Due to the missed connecting flight caused by the delay and the resulting loss of time and disrupted travel plans, I am requesting appropriate compensation for two passengers from Etihad. I also ask that I receive a clear and detailed written response regarding my complaint.
