Enza Home Refused to Accept Return of Lamp – Opened by Delivery Courier

October 13, 2024 9:44 AM52

We purchased a lamp from Enza Home, and they offered to deliver it to our home. When the courier arrived, they opened the package in front of our door and took a photo, claiming it was to prove the product was delivered without damage. However, I was unhappy with the lamp, as I didn’t like it, and the internal wires seemed a bit bent. I requested a return or exchange, but they refused, saying it wasn’t eligible for return. No one told me beforehand that it couldn’t be returned. Even jewelry can be returned if it’s in its original packaging, so why not this?

How was I supposed to know the courier shouldn’t have opened the package? It’s their responsibility to know this. I expect Enza Home to honor the return or exchange policy and resolve this issue fairly.
