Emporio Armani Denies Refund After Unworn T-Shirt Graphic Fades in First Wash

On July 20, 2026, I purchased a t-shirt for approximately $83 from the Emporio Armani store in the Florya Mall in Istanbul. Before even wearing the shirt, I machine-washed it according to the care instructions on the label. During that very first wash, the front graphics faded and started peeling off.

Recognizing this as a quality issue, I returned to the store to request a full refund. They sent the item in for quality inspection, but about 33 days later, they notified me that my claim was denied without offering any concrete justification. I received neither a written explanation nor a convincing reason for the rejection.

I find it completely unacceptable for an unworn product to deteriorate like this during its first wash. I am deeply disappointed by both the quality of the shirt and the brand's failure to stand behind its product. I demand that the inspection process be conducted again in an objective, detailed manner, and that the $83 I paid for this defective item be fully refunded.
