Pierre Cardin Refused My Refund for an Unused Shirt With Tags Attached

On July 29, 2026, I purchased a shirt from the Pierre Cardin store at On Burda Mall in Balıkesir for $32. After bringing the product home and trying it on, I noticed that the shirt length was much longer than I expected. The amount was converted using the current TRY/USD exchange rate and rounded to the nearest whole dollar.
Without wearing the shirt at all, I returned to the same store on August 3, 2026, at approximately 9:42 PM, with the tags still attached and the original receipt, and requested a refund. However, the store employees only offered a gift card or an exchange for another product instead of accepting the return. Even though I clearly explained that I did not want a gift card, that there was no other shirt I liked in the store, and that I did not want to purchase another unnecessary product, my request for a refund was completely ignored.
I am extremely disappointed that a corporate brand like Pierre Cardin, which I believed valued customer satisfaction, refused to assist me with a product that was unused and still had its original tags attached. My only expectation was for my issue to be resolved and for the return process to be handled in a way that reflects the reputation of the brand.
Because of this negative experience, my trust in Pierre Cardin has been damaged. I request that the unused product be accepted as a return and that the $32 I paid be refunded to me. I also ask the company to take the necessary steps to ensure that other customers do not experience similar problems.
