Electrolux Washer-Dryer Tears Clothes
I bought an Electrolux washer-dryer with washing and drying functions, and it broke down in May, just before the warranty expired, tearing clothes. Three technicians had previously arrived, but the problem had not been resolved. The previous service technician wanted to replace the drum and stated that it would have to be shipped from abroad. After four and a half months, no one has returned. I submitted a product replacement request, which was approved, but the new product has yet to arrive after four and a half months. The old product is now also producing errors. Clothes are tearing, and I have to hand-wash them. When I call Electrolux customer service, they tell me, 'We sent an email, we're waiting for a response,' but no one responds.
Services are also impacted; they claim that they cannot deliver the product because they have not received it, and they are correct. But what about my predicament? My product's warranty expired in September, and it no longer performs the spin cycle. If I call the service now, I may have to pay an additional fee because the new product has not yet arrived. What happened to my new product, why hasn't it arrived, and what is the situation? 'It should come from abroad,' they say, but when? Since April, I've been waiting. Return the item or find another solution. Please send the new product. They are unconcerned.
