EasyJet Damaged My Luggage and Has Not Resolved My Claim

I am writing regarding the serious inconvenience I experienced after EasyJet flight EJU4476 from Marrakech to Lyon on July 16, 2026.

After collecting my checked baggage upon arrival, I discovered that my suitcase had been severely damaged and was no longer usable. I immediately reported the damage at the airport, where a Property Irregularity Report (PIR) was completed under reference number T/DPRLYSU2/0717/3686.

Following your instructions, I submitted my request for a replacement suitcase and provided my delivery address through the Dirby/Baggage Services platform. Despite completing all the required steps, I have not received any meaningful update or response for several days.

As I was still traveling internationally and had another flight scheduled shortly afterward, not having a replacement suitcase caused significant difficulties in transporting my belongings. In addition, my emails and requests have gone unanswered, and I have received no information regarding the status of my claim. The lack of communication and support throughout this process has left me feeling extremely disappointed.

This is the first time I have experienced such an inadequate baggage service and such limited customer support from an airline. I do not believe this level of service is acceptable, particularly after a passenger has properly reported baggage damage and complied with all required procedures.

I respectfully request that my claim be resolved without further delay by either providing the promised replacement suitcase as soon as possible or completing the compensation process for my damaged baggage. I also request a written update explaining the current status of my claim and the expected timeline for its resolution.

Thank you for your attention. I look forward to your prompt response and a fair resolution.
