AJet Damaged My Suitcase During Baggage Handling




On 14.05.2026, during my Ajet flight VF3146 on the İstanbul Sabiha Gökçen – Çukurova Bölgesel route, I received my baggage damaged at the destination. When I picked up my suitcase from the baggage carousel, I saw that the wheels were broken and the body of the suitcase was cracked in several places. After noticing the damage, I immediately applied to the relevant unit at the airport and a damage report was issued there. Despite this, my suitcase has become difficult or impossible to use due to the broken wheels and cracked body, which has caused a clear loss for me. In this context, I request that I be provided with a suitcase equivalent to my damaged baggage, or that the fee for an equivalent suitcase be paid to me as compensation for the damage.
On 14.05.2026, during my flight with Jet, the legs of my luggage were broken and a large crack formed in the middle. The Jet baggage unit at the airport requested documentation to resolve the issue, but I had no invoice, so I received no response. Despite my complaint, I got no answer and my damage was not compensated. This situation left me facing a disgraceful experience.
