I purchased the Dyson V15 Detect Absolute cordless vacuum cleaner on August 12, 2023, through Hepsiburada.com. After only six months of use, the orange paint on the device began peeling off, as shown in the attached photos. The vacuum has not experienced any impact or damage, and I always store it on its stand after use.
When I contacted Dyson's customer service, I explained the issue was with the paint peeling off by itself, not a functional problem. However, after sending the vacuum for service, I was shocked to receive a response stating that since the vacuum's suction power is unaffected, no replacement would be provided. This response completely disregards my concern about the defective paint.
Given Dyson's reputation and premium pricing, this lack of accountability is disappointing. The issue is likely due to a manufacturing defect or substandard paint. I am requesting either a product replacement or a full refund. If this matter is not resolved promptly, I will escalate it to the Consumer Rights Committee.
