Watsons Refused Refund for Defective Deborah Lipstick

One of the Deborah brand lipsticks I purchased from the store turned out to have a defective cap. I bought a total of four lipsticks of the same brand. Because the cap was defective, I requested an exchange or a refund, but the customer representative refused and told me that I had purchased the product knowingly and after seeing it.
However, I did not test the product in the store. I did not buy it after checking whether it was defective or not—I only noticed the issue when I got home and opened it. It has been only two days since I made the purchase. In the photos I shared, it is clearly visible that the lipstick is leaking.
We do not buy lipstick just to keep it at home as decoration. If I can’t put it in my bag, there is no point in using that lipstick at all. I am requesting a refund.
