I recently used the Cvmaker website to create a CV, and at that time I was charged a one-time fee of $1. While using the service, it was not clearly stated that a membership or recurring subscription would be activated, nor that my card information would be stored for future charges.
Despite this, Cvmaker later created a membership without my explicit consent, stored my card details, and on February 17, 2026, charged $11 from my İşbank credit card. There is no transparent system on the website where I can clearly see or manage whether I have an active subscription.
After noticing this unauthorized charge, I attempted to contact Cvmaker, but I could not find any live support option and have not received any response to my emails. I find it unacceptable that a membership was created, my card data was stored, and $11 was charged without clear and explicit information and consent.
I request that the $11 deducted from my İşbank credit card on February 17, 2026 be fully refunded, that any membership opened in my name be completely canceled, and that all of my stored card information be permanently deleted from your system. I kindly ask that you take the necessary action as soon as possible and provide me with written confirmation.
