COS Fails to Address Online Fraud and Poor Customer Support
How can a global brand like COS fail to implement basic cybersecurity measures? I purchased several items, but when I noticed discrepancies between the amount charged by the bank and my purchases, I became suspicious.
I repeatedly called the İstinyePark store for assistance. After much effort, they finally answered, but when they went to call a manager, I was left on hold for 30 minutes, and no one ever returned to the line. The Zorlu store didn’t bother to answer their phone at all.
I later learned that COS doesn’t have online sales in Turkey and that the fraudulent site I encountered closely mimicked their official one. Despite this, COS seems indifferent to fake sites misusing their brand. I demand COS take immediate action to improve cybersecurity, address fake websites, and provide accessible customer support. This level of negligence is unacceptable for such a prominent brand.
