Converse Online Purchase Return Rejected Despite Slip Issue

I purchased a pair of Converse rubber boots from the Converse online store on October 13, 2024, and received them on October 16, 2024. On October 25, 2024, I decided to return the shoes because the soles were slippery, making them unsafe to wear. However, my return request was rejected with the explanation that it wasn’t a manufacturing or material defect. Despite having the right to withdraw, I find it disappointing that a reputable company like Eren Perakende would refuse a return for an online purchase. Customer service also mentioned an expired return period, but I’m within my rights. Since this issue remains unresolved, I will be filing a complaint with Consumer Rights.
I was called by the Converse customer representative and was told to return the product again. This was the solution offered to me. I didn't understand why a product purchased online would be subject to a second review within the return period, so I gave up on the shoes and also gave up on the brand...
