I Noticed Cracks Around Touch Buttons on My Chery Tiggo 8 ProMax After 7 Months
In January 2025, I purchased a Chery Tiggo 8 ProMax from the Gönye dealership in Bursa. For the first few months, I was genuinely satisfied with the car and enjoyed driving it. However, I recently noticed fine cracks forming around the touch-sensitive buttons on the front dashboard. These hairline fractures are unacceptable in a vehicle that’s only seven months old and has been meticulously maintained.
This issue has significantly lowered my confidence in the vehicle's quality. How can such a defect appear in a nearly new car that hasn’t experienced any trauma or misuse? It’s extremely disappointing to encounter such a visible flaw in a model that is otherwise marketed as premium.
I urgently request Chery to contact me and provide a swift and satisfying resolution. These cracks should not be dismissed as cosmetic or ignored—this is a manufacturing defect and must be addressed under warranty. I expect a proper inspection and repair or replacement of the affected parts. Please treat this issue with the seriousness it deserves.
