I own a 2024 Chery Tiggo 8 Pro Max, and despite the car not even being one year old, the front headlights have developed serious cracks and deformations. This issue is clearly the result of a manufacturing defect. However, the authorized Adana Tekbaş service center stated, without providing any justification, that the problem is not covered under warranty.
I absolutely do not accept this approach. A vehicle should not show such defects in such a short time. This is not user error—it is clearly a material/manufacturing fault.
According to the Turkish Consumer Protection Law No. 6502:
Any defects that occur within the warranty period must be resolved through free repair or replacement.
Otherwise, the product is classified as defective, and the consumer has the right to demand a refund or other remedies.
Let me be very clear: if this issue is not immediately resolved under warranty, I will take the matter without delay to the Consumer Arbitration Board, Consumer Court, and all relevant legal authorities. Additionally, I will not hesitate to share my experience with the public.
I expect this problem to be resolved under warranty, assuming that your brand values reliability and customer satisfaction. Otherwise, you can be certain that I will pursue all my legal rights to the fullest extent.
