I’ve been facing a frustrating issue with my Chery Omoda 5 that’s made long-distance travel nearly impossible. Despite having fuel in the tank, the low fuel warning light never turns off. It constantly shows as if I’m running on empty, even when the tank is full.
When I called the Chery authorized service, they told me the car needs to stay there for two full days to diagnose and fix the problem. I asked whether they’d provide a replacement vehicle during that time, and they flat-out said no. This means I’d be without transportation, and my daily responsibilities would suffer.
This is absolutely unacceptable for a new car. A faulty fuel sensor shouldn't require two days and zero support from the company. It’s already disappointing enough that the car has a malfunction like this, but what’s worse is the complete lack of customer care.
