I own a Chery Omoda 5, and the ABS sensor failed on my vehicle. The service center diagnosed the issue on January 7, but more than a month has passed, and there has been no update or resolution regarding the part replacement.
Meanwhile, I had no choice but to continue driving the car, which has severely impacted the braking system—it is now 90% damaged. Additionally, the transmission has started making noises, and the vehicle shifts to neutral on its own while driving on a straight road.
I even uploaded a video showing the issues. It is unacceptable that a simple sensor failure has led to such serious malfunctions, and the delay in parts availability is highly concerning.
Here’s the full list of malfunctions occurring due to the ABS sensor issue:
ABS sensor failure
Blind spot monitoring system malfunction
Hill start assist failure
Hill descent control failure
ESC (Electronic Stability Control) malfunction
Auto-hold system failure
Radar system failure
I demand urgent action to replace the necessary parts and prevent further damage to my vehicle. This delay and lack of support are unacceptable!
