I Face an Unauthorized ChatGPT Subscription Charge on My Vodafone Bill
On October 2, 2025, around 1:55 AM, a ChatGPT subscription was started on my Vodafone line without my knowledge, through my Mi Note 14 Pro phone in Sakarya. I realized the situation only when I received an email notification on my computer and immediately canceled the subscription via Google’s purchase services. However, even though I canceled it right away, I was informed that the ₺649.99 charge would still appear on my October 2025 Vodafone bill.
I didn’t have mobile payments restricted, and I’ve never experienced anything like this before. The fact that this transaction occurred without my consent — and that the charge will still be billed to me despite the immediate cancellation — has caused me significant inconvenience. I request that this incident be investigated and that the ₺649.99 charge not be reflected on my bill to prevent further unfairness.
