Carnival Cruise Line's Platinum Members Treated Like Nothing
I’ve been going with them for years, even reaching their fancy "platinum" status. Our trip to New York's Pier 88 on June 6th turned into a huge mess. There were protests and traffic jams everywhere, and when we finally got there, the staff was awful! They yelled at everyone like we were kids, totally rude. They didn't care that we'd paid a lot of money for this trip! We explained everything, but they wouldn't let us on the ship. Other people were boarding, but not us! The whole thing was super upsetting, really made us feel bad. I want Carnival to give us all our money back. How can they treat people this way in 2024? My daughter and I are still bummed about the whole thing. Carnival should apologize to us and make sure their staff treats everyone with respect, no matter what.
