MSC Fantasia Denied Me Boarding Over Valid Green Passport and Refused Refund
On June 12, 2025, I boarded the MSC Fantasia cruise departing from Galataport, Istanbul, for a 9-night, 10-day Aegean-Adriatic journey. Everything was fine up until I stepped on the ship using my extended green passport, which is valid until 2028. However, while heading to reception after boarding, a crew member stopped me and requested my passport. After reviewing it, they suddenly claimed there was an issue and forced me to disembark, despite there being no problem up until that point. The tour operator blamed me and refused to offer a refund for the cruise I paid for in full. I’ve been left both financially and emotionally devastated. My most recent complaint was also ignored with no resolution offered. I demand full compensation for this unacceptable treatment and urge MSC and the operator to take responsibility for their actions immediately.
