On September 21, 2025, I booked a car rental through Carjet in İzmir and also purchased insurance for the booking. However, when I arrived at the Yours Car Rental office to collect the car, I was told that I had to buy a new insurance policy and that €1,200 would be charged (not blocked) from my card. The staff explained that the amount would be refunded after about 45 days based on the current exchange rate, and if I refused, they would not deliver the vehicle.
As a result, I was left stranded in the evening with no car, and I had to rent from another company to continue my trip. I had already paid €211 to Carjet for the original booking, but despite not receiving the car, no refund was issued. When I contacted Carjet’s customer support, they simply stated that a refund would not be possible, offering no real explanation.
This is the first time I have encountered such an issue, despite renting vehicles every year. My reservation number is CJT-189279068, and I have kept all the invoices and payment records as proof.
I request an immediate refund of the €211 payment, as I was denied the insured vehicle I paid for and left completely unsupported by both Carjet and Yours Car Rental.
