On September 21, 2025, I rented a car through Carjet at Sarajevo Airport (Bosnia and Herzegovina) under Reservation No: cjt-189417802. However, due to my flight being delayed, I arrived at the office late, and the vehicle reserved for me had already been given to someone else. I was also told that it was legally impossible to deliver the car without a child seat and that I should obtain one from outside. Because of this, the office staff said they could not give me the vehicle and provided an official document stating “res cancelled” (canceled).
After all of this, I contacted Carjet multiple times via email and submitted the situation with all supporting documents. However, I repeatedly received automated responses, and Carjet refused to issue a refund on the grounds of a “no-show.” In reality, I did go to the office to pick up the car, but the service was not provided. I also learned that Carjet did not make any payment to Avis, the rental company, due to the delay and that Avis did not charge anything since I did not receive the service. In other words, Carjet is keeping the payment even though they paid nothing to the provider, and I do not believe they have the right to penalize me.
Despite contacting them several times over the past month, no solution has been provided. I request a full refund of the $340 USD charged to my credit card. I will no longer choose Carjet for personal or corporate use and will not recommend them to others.
