Camper Charged ₺3470 for a Replacement of My Drift Trail Vibram Shoes
The Drift Trail Vibram model shoes I purchased from Camper opened up after just one year of use. I sent them in for examination, and the company approved a replacement. However, they informed me that I could either get a refund or exchange them for a different pair at an additional cost, as they claimed the exact model was no longer available. In reality, the same model is in stock, with only a minor color difference. Yet, they are demanding ₺3470 for this variation. It's frustrating that Camper changes product codes by altering the color each year, making an equal exchange impossible. For a brand like Camper, this approach reflects poorly, as it feels like they are working against, rather than for, their customers. I am requesting a straightforward exchange for a defect-free replacement.
There has been no response from the company. I have filed a complaint with the Consumer Arbitration Committee.
The Consumer Arbitration Committee ruled in my favor and decided that the shoes should be replaced.
