I Got Food Poisoning From Whopper Menu at Burger King

We went to the Büyükçekmece Mimaroba branch last night at 22:16 to have dinner. I ordered chicken burgers for the kids and a Whopper menu for my wife and myself. When my burger arrived, I asked my wife why it was cold. She suggested we could ask them to change it, but when I took a bite, I noticed that the lettuce inside was completely black, clearly not fresh. I also noticed something odd about the patty; it was very thin, and I wondered if they pressed it too hard while cooking. My wife got upset, so I didn’t want to make a fuss and ate it anyway, but I regret that now. After eating, I barely made it to the restroom before I vomited. The pain continued severely, so we went to the emergency room. The doctor said it might be food poisoning. We were all miserable until midnight. My wife's stomach was upset too, but not as severely as mine. The doctor mentioned that everyone’s body reacts differently. So, who is going to compensate for this now? What if something had happened to the kids instead of us? We regularly visit the Perlavista Mall branch and have never experienced anything like this, but the situation at the Mimaroba branch is unacceptable. It’s clear that the patty was thawed and spoiled. We were humiliated, and on top of that, we had to deal with injections and IVs all night. I called and filed a complaint about this disgraceful incident, but the response I received was just that the necessary warnings would be issued. What kind of response is that? People’s health is at stake here. When I asked for a follow-up, they said they couldn’t reach the relevant department. This is a corporate company, but it’s worthless. Considering your health, especially at a restaurant where children eat, think twice before going.

Yes, we talked, but it did not reach a solution. You denied it, saying it was not our fault, and covered it up, but I made my complaint to the necessary places and I am waiting. Instead of apologizing and making amends, you arrogantly say it is not our fault. Your tone, attitude, and approach are not pleasant at all. I paid so much money there, and on top of that, we experienced these issues. When I said I wanted a refund, you displayed a mocking attitude. I will never consider visiting your restaurants again, and no one else should either. Do not lower your quality this much. If you keep such people in your organization, you will lose many more customers.
