Burger King Delivery Error - Overcharged for Missing Fries



Burger King Bakırköy made an incorrect delivery and refused to acknowledge their mistake. On June 5th, 2024, at 12:42 PM, I placed order #1009 for a 2-piece Big King Menu (to-go) at the Cevizlik branch. Without my consent, they added two Mega Boy fries to my order, totaling an extra ₺44 (2 x ₺22). Despite this upcharge, I received only small-sized fries.
I brought this to the attention of the staff and shift supervisor, showing them my receipt as proof. The supervisor claimed that Mega fries are automatically included with the menu (a claim refuted by Burger King's headquarters) and insisted the fries I received were indeed Mega-sized. However, Burger King's headquarters confirmed that Mega Boy fries weigh 250 grams, while the fries I received weighed a mere 58 grams when measured at a nearby deli.
In summary: I was overcharged ₺44 for Mega Boy fries added to my order without my permission. Despite this, I received the smallest size fries instead. The staff, including the shift supervisor, refused to rectify the situation and instead attempted to mislead me with false claims. My order was also missing Ranch Sauce and straws for the drinks. No apology was offered, and no effort was made to correct the order, despite my polite demeanor.
I formally request a sincere apology from Burger King Bakırköy and the delivery of the missing fries I paid for.

I spoke with 444 5 464 again, and they asked me to go to the branch once more and request the shift supervisor to check the email. If the problem is not resolved again, they asked me to call this number from the branch. I am going to the branch again.
I went to the branch again and said that I wanted to speak with the shift supervisor and learned that the email had reached them. A plainclothes employee asked me what I wanted in an extremely rude manner. I asked him to apologize, and he did so and delivered the correct products. Frankly, such rude and angry behavior does not suit a corporate company like this at all. My problem was resolved. Even though I have experienced a very sad situation, the existence of the Şikayetvar family provides an opportunity for consumers like us (who have no one) to seek our rights. Once again, I extend my thanks to the Şikayetvar family.
