My blood boils as I recall the events surrounding my purchase of the Bosch Series 8 Wi-Fi Dryer with the code WTX87K80TR/03 on December 28, 2022. While the drying function works fine, no one bothered to inform us about the extensive cleaning required for this dryer before or during the installation process. Both the lint cassette and the filter compartment at the bottom fill up with so much water that it takes a solid 30 minutes to clean them. It's a modern dryer, but the cleaning process feels like a never-ending torment. Older models didn't have this issue, but it plagues us. I can't reach the customer service hotline, and no one seems to care after selling the product. Drying takes 90 minutes, but cleaning takes an additional 30 minutes. If we had known it would be this much of a hassle, we wouldn't have made the purchase. I demand a free inspection to determine if there is a technical flaw; otherwise, we'll be forced to seek a new machine. Bosch, the brand we trusted for our dryer, is offering us no support. We are unable to find anyone to address our concerns.
