Bosch Sold Me Two Faulty Serie 8 Dryers and Delayed Replacement With Repair Excuses

The Bosch Serie 8 Dryer has disappointed us for the second time. On September 12, 2024, we purchased a Bosch Serie 8 washing machine and a Bosch Serie 8 dryer. Shortly after the installation of both machines, we noticed that the dryer was making a loud noise from the fan. When the service checked it, they determined that the fan was faulty and decided to replace the product. We waited about a month for the product replacement. Bosch headquarters stated that the product was out of stock and offered a refund instead. They said if we wanted, we could repurchase the same product from Bosch stores. We accepted the refund and bought the same product again from a different Bosch store on October 28, 2024. Unfortunately, shortly after, we realized that the second product was also defective, making a loud belt noise from the back and having touch screen issues. We scheduled a service appointment. The technician asked us to record the sound and other issues on video, stating they would send it to the factory. They advised us to film from a distance to pick up the sound more clearly. We followed their instructions, but they kept us waiting until December 10, 2024. Finally, they said they could repair the machine. I refused the repair, stating that I was a victim of the same model for the second time, but unfortunately, they did not address the issue either through Bosch's general service or the technician. It became clear that the delay was to extend the duration beyond one month. After one month, they would provide service for repairs instead of a replacement. We understood better that there is a serious issue with Bosch's Serie 8 dryer model. We purchased it twice, and both products had problems. We have been using the Serie 8 washing machine we bought together without complaint. However, the Serie 8 dryer we purchased twice has caused us regret. The brand's involvement in cheap tactics has also been a separate disappointment. At this point, we no longer have confidence in the brand. I wanted to write this because I hope that those considering buying Bosch's Serie 8 dryer think twice. Of course, I will be filing a complaint with the Consumer Arbitration Board. The defective product is evident. Justice will be served sooner or later. People or brands are responsible for their damaged image.
