Refund Request For Booking.com Flight Cancellation

I purchased Etihad Airways flight tickets through Booking.com/Gotogate in November 2025 for travel from Manchester to Tokyo via Abu Dhabi, with departure on 2 April 2026 and return on 15 April 2026. Due to the Middle East conflict, I was informed that I was allowed to cancel these tickets with a full refund. On this basis, I cancelled the booking on 22 March. Despite this clear promise of a full refund, I have still not received my money back, and I have not been given any clear timeline. I have contacted customer service several times, but they have not been able to explain the reason for the delay and they keep pushing the expected refund date back without providing any concrete information.
