I booked an Etihad Airways flight through Booking.com from London Heathrow to Cochin for 01/04/2026, under the booking reference 8HJEJK, while residing in the United Kingdom. Due to the current war crisis in the Middle East, I decided not to travel for safety reasons and contacted Etihad Airways directly about my options. Etihad informed me that they were willing to offer a full refund for my ticket, but that the refund could only be processed through Booking.com since the booking was made via your platform. Since then, I have been trying for about a month to reach Booking.com customer service to request this refund, but I have not been able to contact anyone. Whenever I try to reach customer support through your channels, I am constantly redirected back to the home page, without any possibility to speak with an agent, send a proper request, or follow up on my case. This situation is very frustrating, especially since the airline has clearly stated that Booking.com must handle the refund. Please refund my ticket for booking reference 8HJEJK to my original payment method. Etihad Airways has already agreed to this in principle. Please contact me promptly with confirmation of the refund and a clear explanation of the process.
