Last-Minute Hotel Cancellation and Lack of Response from Booking.com
Our hotel reservation made through Booking was canceled at the last minute due to an issue with the hotel. Despite our attempts to resolve this with Booking, we received no response to any of our messages and were essentially left to spend the night outside. They only sent a message with a hotel name, but it was not clear if any arrangements were made with this hotel. It has been over 24 hours since the issue arose, and we still have not received a response, nor can we find anyone to speak to directly. This is utterly unacceptable.
