Kryopigihome Canceled My Booking Last Minute via Booking.com—Refund Still Pending
I booked the Kryopigihome 1 apartment through Booking.com for 4 nights, from September 5 to September 9, and paid the full amount online. Today, September 3, just two days before my stay, I received an abrupt message: "Your reservation has been canceled." I contacted the property owner, and she explained that Booking had double-booked the apartment, resulting in my reservation being canceled. She also suggested that to avoid cancellations like this in the future, I should book directly with the property. However, when I reached out to Booking, they claimed that the property had canceled my reservation. Now, with only two days left until my vacation, I’m stuck without accommodations. Booking promises a response within 24 hours, but I’m left in the dark about when I will receive my refund. I paid via credit card, and the uncertainty around the refund has left me worried. It’s unacceptable for these platforms to leave customers stranded like this with no immediate resolution.
