I booked a hotel on Booking.com for June 15–17, 2025 (Reservation No: 4459447821). Unfortunately, I couldn't travel because my visa application was still pending by the time of my trip, and as a result, I couldn’t stay at the property.
Although I was outside the free cancellation period, I immediately informed Booking.com customer service of the situation. The property refused to issue a refund, but the customer service team told me they would do their best to assist. On June 20, 2025, I received an official email from Booking.com stating that a refund would be processed.
However, since then, I haven’t received any refund, and I haven’t been able to get in touch with anyone at Booking.com for follow-up. The refund never arrived, and no support team has responded despite multiple attempts.
I request immediate action from Booking.com to either process the promised refund or provide a clear explanation. A written refund commitment was made, and I expect it to be honored without further delay.
