I Was Denied Entry to a London Hotel Booked on Booking.com and Didn’t Get Full Refund
I booked a hotel in London through Booking.com and paid the full amount in advance. After booking, the hotel contacted me directly, asking me to complete the check-in process online. I submitted all the required information, and shortly after, they confirmed my check-in was successful.
However, when I arrived at the hotel on the day of my stay, I was told I couldn’t be accommodated because I wasn’t a student—something that was never mentioned during the booking process. As a result, I had no choice but to cancel the reservation on the spot.
I requested a full refund through Booking.com, but I only received a partial amount back. This is completely unfair—I followed all procedures and was denied entry due to undisclosed hotel policies.
Booking.com, I demand a full refund of my ₺ immediately. If the hotel has conditions like “student-only stays,” they should be clearly stated on your platform before booking. This kind of oversight wastes customers’ time and money. Make this right.
