I Face Booking.com Refund Delay After Free Cancellation at Colline di Castelcucco Hotel

On July 21, 2025, I mistakenly booked Colline di Castelcucco Hotel in Italy for September 14 through Booking.com. I realized my error immediately, contacted the property, and canceled the booking under the free cancellation policy. The hotel confirmed that the refund would be processed by Booking.com. However, despite my reservation (No. 6484380964-6397) being canceled 18 days ago, I still have not received my refund.

I contacted Booking.com customer service five times, and each time they told me the refund would be completed within 7–12 days. Yet nothing has been processed. In the past, for a similar cancellation, my refund was issued within four days. This time, I am only met with delays and repetitive excuses.

I paid by credit card, and the amount—approximately €50–€70—was fully covered by the free cancellation terms. I have now been waiting for over two weeks without resolution. I demand the immediate refund of my payment and expect Booking.com to honor its stated cancellation and refund policy without further delay.
