Booking.com Charged Me but Didn’t Confirm My Reservation or Refund My Payment

I made a hotel reservation through Booking.com and paid the full amount at checkout. However, I never received a confirmation email, which is normally sent instantly after booking.

When I contacted Booking.com customer service, they told me that if no confirmation was received, then the reservation likely didn’t go through, and I would receive a refund within 7 to 12 days. But it has now been well beyond 12 days, and the money has still not been refunded to my account.

This is completely unacceptable. I trusted Booking.com to handle my reservation, and instead, I'm left without a booking and out of pocket. I demand that Booking.com immediately refund my payment and improve transparency in situations where the reservation fails but payment is still processed. Customers should not be left in limbo after a failed transaction.

Exatly the same fraud still going on Booking.com First they show you last minute deals and I booked the last room. They already charged my card but they haven't booked my hotel room I learned that from hotel. But hotel stuff was nice and explained to me how this scam works! Basically they show you last minute very good deals and you booked they charged you for that room and then no conformation, when you complain to them they will respond you with automated replies then after 48 hours they get back to you and say sorry last room already booked and they will refund your card in 7 to 12 days plus that 2 days till you reach them, so 16 days they use your money to make money and you just sit there and wait your money back.
