Delayed Access To Booking.com Customer Support Following Flight Schedule Change

I am submitting this complaint regarding the difficulties I experienced when seeking assistance for my flight booking from New York to Warsaw, scheduled for June 20 (Booking Reference: 4782345), which I made through Booking.com. After being informed of a schedule change by the airline, I needed urgent guidance regarding my available options. On May 14, 2026, I attempted to contact Booking.com customer support but found it extremely difficult to reach a live representative. The system repeatedly directed me through automated chat processes, and only after navigating multiple steps was I finally given a phone number. This caused a serious delay at a time when I urgently needed clear information about my trip. Eventually, on June 2, I managed to reach a live agent, who informed me that Booking.com follows the airline’s policy. In the end, I was able to make a free date change for my flight, but the process to obtain real support took far longer and was much more stressful than it should have been. During a time-sensitive travel situation, the inability to quickly reach a human representative caused unnecessary frustration and anxiety. I respectfully request a detailed review of my booking and the support process I experienced, and I would like a clear confirmation of all current options and conditions related to my reservation after the schedule change and date modification. In addition, I strongly encourage Booking.com to improve its customer support system so that customers facing urgent travel disruptions can quickly and easily reach a live representative, without having to lose time in lengthy automated menus. I look forward to your response and a satisfactory resolution regarding both my case and the improvement of your support process.
