Trying to book a hotel in Vienna, I had a bit of a problem. My card got charged three times for the same hotel reservation, which was definitely not smooth. I got suspicious and thought it might be a scam, so I decided to cancel the reservation completely. they gave back the money for two of the charges, but the third one is still waiting for a refund, I've been going back and forth with Booking.com's customer service for a whole month now. I've given them all the docs they need to support my case, but I still haven't gotten my refund for one of the charges. It's driving me crazy! this whole thing has been super annoying and frustrating for me. just a heads up, when you book through Booking.com, you gotta be super careful and ready for some possible issues. Otherwise, you might end up in the same boat, you might run into the same problem.
