Trying to book a hotel in Vienna, I had a bit of a problem. My card got charged three times for the same hotel reservation, which was definitely not smooth. I got suspicious and thought it might be a scam, so I decided to cancel the reservation completely. they gave back the money for two of the charges, but the third one is still waiting for a refund, I've been going back and forth with Booking.com's customer service for a whole month now. I've given them all the docs they need to support my case, but I still haven't gotten my refund for one of the charges.
