I purchased a Decathlon Forclaz men’s trekking hoodie (item code 5414275), invoice/order number 2533248934-25894604, with a total invoice value of 3,068 INR, delivered to my address in Jaipur, Rajasthan, India. I received the product on 10 December 2025, and on the same day, I initiated a return request because the size was not suitable and the colour was not as per my expectations. When the first pickup was scheduled, the pickup agent refused to take the product, stating that the Forclaz brand name was not mentioned on the jacket. This is not an issue from my side, as the product came exactly as delivered by Decathlon, and this appears to be a brand/manufacturing or labelling concern. The hoodie still has the original tag intact, and I had the invoice available at the time of pickup. I then contacted Decathlon customer service via email. They rescheduled the pickup, but the status was incorrectly updated as “quality check failed,” even though the product was unused and in proper condition with all tags. For the second rescheduled pickup, I received the pickup code, but a few minutes later, I also received a cancellation notification. When I again contacted Decathlon customer service, I was informed that it was a “self-cancellation” because the delivery agent supposedly tried to attempt pickup. I can clearly state that I did not receive any call from the delivery person, and when I called him myself, he said he had no information regarding this product or pickup. In addition to email, I tried to reach Decathlon customer service by phone number 7676798989. This is an automated system, and when the call was supposedly transferred to a support person, no one answered, and after some time, the call disconnected automatically. The bot also repeated the incorrect information that the second return request was a self-cancellation. I am facing all these issues despite having the product in proper condition with invoice and tags, and despite initiating the return on the same day of delivery. I request that Decathlon arrange an immediate pickup of this Forclaz trekking hoodie from my Jaipur address and to process a full refund of the invoice amount of 3,068 INR without any further delay, as the return failure is due to process and labelling issues on the company’s side, not mine.
