Booking.com Took My Money for a Canceled Hotel and Never Gave a Refund

I made the mistake of trusting the Booking.com. I booked a prepaid hotel in Venice with a free cancellation option, and although I canceled it before the stated deadline, I haven’t received a refund in 2.5 months. I’ve contacted customer service multiple times, but all I get are generic replies with no real solution. Neither the hotel nor Booking.com is responding to my messages. I even provided screenshots and booking details, but they were completely ignored. I’ve been left in a difficult situation because of Booking.com. It’s frustrating to see such a big platform fail to protect its users. Please don’t let yourself be victimized the same way.
