Booking.com Swapped My Accommodation and Still Won’t Pay the Price Difference

Between September 14–18, 2025, I booked a stay for my family at the property named Propriete No8 – Relax, close to train station & university in Iaşi, Romania through Booking.com with reservation number 4756223771. When I arrived, the host informed me that the house was no longer suitable and that they had notified Booking.com. I then spent about two hours on calls with Booking.com customer service. Eventually they apologized and found us another place nearby, promising they would cover the difference in price.
The new accommodation we were placed in was Apartament 3 Kamera Palas. However, the host’s mobile payment app didn’t work with our Turkish-origin phones, so we were forced to pay in cash. Booking.com refunded the initial payment, but the price difference of about 900 Romanian leu has still not been paid, despite me submitting the invoice, zero-balance receipt, reservation details, and other documentation multiple times. It has now been two months and still no payment.
During this process I wrote many times, had three international calls, and contacted them via app and Instagram. Even though I submitted all required paperwork, my grievance was not addressed. I request that the price difference be paid to me as soon as possible.
