Booking.com Reservation Issue with Samos Island Hotel

I just booked a hotel on Booking.com for Samos Island in Greece. But then, I realized that the reservation was actually for Crete Island. I quickly reached out to Booking.com in writing to cancel the reservation. Well, it's a bummer, but Booking.com just hit me with the news that the reservation can't be canceled. Ugh.
When it came to the payment being in the authorization stage on my bank credit card, Akbank didn't really offer a clear solution either. Man, I'm really stuck in a tough spot here. Booking.com won't let me cancel my reservation.
