Booking.com Canceled My Reservation but Hasn’t Refunded My Payment

I made a hotel reservation on Booking.com, and the payment was successfully charged to my credit card. However, the reservation was later canceled by Booking.com, and the refund has not been processed to my card. When I contacted Booking.com, they told me to follow up with my bank, but the bank directed me back to Booking.com.
I am now stuck between the two with no resolution. This issue has caused significant inconvenience, as I have an upcoming international trip and need to make a new reservation, but I cannot access my money.
Booking.com must urgently process my refund and improve their coordination with financial institutions to avoid such problems for other customers. This situation is unacceptable.
