Wingie Booking Complaint

I purchased a Wingie flight ticket for passenger Nagma Khatoon, PNR JCVDH2, for an Air India flight from Patna to Jeddah scheduled on 29 October 2026, with a total paid amount of SAR 1,000.13. Air India cancelled this flight and I received an official cancellation email from the airline. After the cancellation, I contacted Wingie by phone. During the call I was informed that approximately SAR 250 would be deducted from my refund as taxes, even though the cancellation was initiated by the airline. The call was not handled properly and was disconnected, and I was not given any reference number or case ID. Since the flight was cancelled by Air India and not by me, I request a full refund of SAR 1,000.13 to my original payment method with no deductions. I also request written confirmation that the full amount will be refunded. If the full amount is not refunded, I plan to escalate this issue to the Saudi General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA) and other relevant consumer complaint platforms, and I will consider using dispute or chargeback channels via my bank. I would prefer that Wingie resolve this matter fairly and promptly without the need for further escalation.
