Booking.com Reservation Error at Dream Resort Sharm El Sheikh With Extra Charges

On September 15–20, 2025, I booked a stay for 2 adults and 1 child at Dream Resort Sharm El Sheikh in Egypt through Booking.com (Reservation No: 5154*410). I completed the full payment at the time of booking. However, when I received my reservation details, they incorrectly showed the booking as 1 adult and 1 child.
I immediately contacted Booking.com customer service several times throughout the day. Despite explaining my issue repeatedly, no solution was offered. Instead, I was simply told, “We can’t do anything, please talk to the hotel directly.” This response makes no sense since I paid Booking.com, not the hotel.
Due to this mistake, the hotel is now demanding an additional ₺6,000 fee for the missing adult. On top of that, reaching customer service was already extremely difficult, and when I finally got through, the representatives were unhelpful, dismissive, and unwilling to correct their own system error.
I demand that Booking.com immediately update my reservation to reflect 2 adults and 1 child as originally booked, or alternatively, refund me in full without penalty so I am not forced to pay extra due to their mistake. Customers should not suffer financial losses because of Booking.com’s booking errors and lack of accountability.
