I booked a 6-night, all-inclusive stay for 2 adults and 2 children (ages 8 and 2) at Pickalbatros Laguna Club Resort in Sharm El Sheikh via Booking.com for $809.20 (USD). However, just days before my trip, I noticed that the same hotel under identical conditions was now listed at $737.56 (USD).
I immediately requested a price match from Booking.com customer service, but their response was inconsistent and unsatisfactory. They claimed the discrepancy was due to currency exchange rates, even though both amounts were in USD. I provided screenshots and evidence to support my claim, yet my request was ignored.
I demand that Booking.com honors their price match policy and refunds the excess amount I paid. This lack of transparency and refusal to resolve the issue is unacceptable.
