On July 26, I booked a standard room at Pickalbatros Laguna Club Resort Hotel in Sharm El Sheikh, Egypt, through Booking.com. My reservation was confirmed, and $681.15 was charged to my credit card. However, on August 7, due to an error caused by Booking.com, my reservation was canceled. On the same day, my account was charged three more times, and several additional payment attempts were made.
Because of this issue, I still hold valid flight tickets but, with my travel date approaching, Booking.com’s finance department has only given me vague responses like “we see your payment, we’re waiting for an update.” Meanwhile, the hotel’s prices have increased, and due to Booking.com’s mistake, I am unable to stay at my chosen hotel and risk losing the cost of my flights.
I have contacted Booking.com customer service numerous times via phone and email, but I have only received evasive explanations and no real solution. This situation has caused me significant financial and emotional stress.
I request that Booking.com either reinstate my original booking or provide me with an all-inclusive stay at the same or higher standard hotel for the same dates. My reservation number is 6852363640. I expect an urgent and satisfactory resolution without further delays.
