Booking.com Rent A Car Problems!

I booked a car through Booking.com for pick up at Larnaca Airport from August 2 to August 6. However, upon landing, I was informed that the car wouldn't be available at the airport and that I had to go to a shuttle location instead. To my dismay, there was neither a shuttle service nor a vehicle waiting for me. When I contacted customer service, I struggled to communicate as the person on the line didn't speak Turkish fluently, and our conversation was a mix of broken English. My frustration grew when I realized that the company was based in Southern Cyprus, and I had to collect the vehicle from there. Upon explaining the situation to customer service, they offered to refund my fee if I booked another car through booking.com. However, the available cars were unreasonably expensive, which left me no choice but to spend 1200TL on transportation to the city center. Will they provide assistance today?
