Booking.com Fails to Deliver Refund for Car Rental

I recently had a bad experience with Booking.com while attempting to rent a car for a 6-day trip. I made all of the necessary arrangements and paid the full amount in advance through their platform, excited about my upcoming journey. I had no idea that this would be the start of a frustrating ordeal. Unforeseen circumstances caused a significant delay on the day of my flight, causing me to arrive later than expected. When I called the car rental company to see if I could pick up the vehicle I had reserved, I was shocked to learn that they couldn't because of my late arrival. Naturally, I turned to Booking.com for help and a refund of the prepaid amount. Instead of the support I had hoped for, I was met with disappointment. Because of my three-hour delay, the Booking.com representative informed me that they were unable to process a refund. It felt like an unjust and unfair decision, especially since the circumstances were beyond my control. Despite my request for sympathy, they refused to acknowledge the situation and denied my refund request.
