Booking.com Refund for Late Husband’s Ramada Booking Still Unpaid

I am writing regarding a refund issue for a cancelled booking made through Booking.com in my late husband’s name. The reservation was for Ramada London North for the nights of 27–28 June, under booking number 5178315332 with PIN 6498. The booking was made on 26 April 2026, and my husband sadly passed away on 3 May 2026. Ramada London North agreed to cancel the stay and clearly informed me that Booking.com is responsible for processing the refund. I also received an email from Booking.com confirming that a refund of £84.99 would be issued. However, this refund has still not been paid, even though I have been trying to resolve the matter since June. After my husband’s death, his accounts, including his bank account, were closed and transferred to me. I have not been able to contact Booking.com about this specific booking, because the system does not allow me to manage or discuss reservations made under my husband’s email address. I am only able to communicate about bookings in my own name, and I have already received refunds for those without any problem. In this case, however, I am blocked from progressing, even though I am the lawful successor to his accounts and can provide any documentation needed. Although Booking.com has already confirmed by email that a refund of £84.99 will be issued for this booking, they are not aware of my husband’s passing or of the fact that his original account details are no longer valid. I am fully able and willing to provide my current bank account details so that the refund can be completed correctly and securely, but I need Booking.com to contact me directly so that I can do this safely. I kindly request that Booking.com urgently emails me regarding booking 5178315332 in order to complete the confirmed refund of £84.99, so that I can provide the necessary bank details and this matter, which has already been ongoing since June, can be resolved without any further delay.
